PEAK:AIO’s affordability drives AI in Research & Education
Research and Education is often grant driven with demanding budgets. Essential to a project’s success is its compute power which ideally consumes the majority of the budget. Compromising on storage has traditionally resulted in a much slower solution, delaying progress significantly. PEAK:AIO’s success in research and education is growing, key to this is the delivery of the ultra-high performance needed at a price not previously seen. Enabling more funds to be invested in GPU and compute power.
University of Liverpool
PEAK:AIO is proud to be involved with our partners Scan and PNY in a project by the University of Liverpool to understand and map the chemical space of small molecules. The project has already found the first solution for the structure identification problem of molecules not in existing databases.
We were able to increase our molecule analysis some 40-fold, along with a speed up in learning of between 10-30 fold.
The additional performance increased small molecule discovery from 150,000 to over 6million and the project’s success led to a peer reviewed publication as well as an NVIDIA case study.
